He’s been a professional cricketer… and a professional ‘survivor’ … but when Lee Carseldine joined the Queensland Weekender team, it was Channel 7 that ‘hit a six’.
The former Queensland Bulls player brings a likeable larrikin quality (read: cheeky sense of humour) to every story – plus a fierce sense of adventure and a genuine interest in people’s passions.
Dad to two boys, Lee is also a devoted family man who enjoys nothing more than spending a day outdoors with his kids.
What’s something people wouldn’t know about you?
“I have a ridiculous Milo fetish. Even though I live a healthy lifestyle, it’s my Kryptonite. And it’s got to be half-sludge/half-milk!”
“I’ve never been beaten at a body-surfing challenge… ever.”
What place or image sums up Queensland for you?
“A blazing Outback sunset where the whole landscape – from the sky to the dusty plains – lights up with an orange glow. I love my sunrises and sunsets – I guess it comes from getting up early to capture drone shots.”
